July 27
SFSDC Forage Seed Summer Research Tour and BBQ. This tour and BBQ will be held at the AAFC Research Farm near Melfort. Tour plots of alfalfa, bromegrass, crested wheatgrass, Festulolium, timothy, cicer milkvetch, and sainfoin. See trials including alternate row/companion crop planting, herbicide tolerance on red, alsike, sweet clover and slender wheatgrass, plant growth regulators and much more! Learn more here.

Saskatchewan Pasture Tour. Held in the Foam Lake, SK area, this tour will highlight impact of intensive grazing, solar water systems, annual crop winter grazing, diverse cover crops, plant ID, establishing grass on alfalfa, controlling intensive weeds with grazing and more. August 16
SFC AGM and Diverse Cover Crop Field Day. Don't miss this event, to be held near Mervin, SK. This day focuses on integrating diverse cover crops with livestock and topics include research on diverse cover crops, winter feeding options and cow nutrition, tour of diverse cover crop site and more. The day will wind up with the Saskatchewan Forage Council's AGM. Registration deadline is August 9th so register now! Learn more here.
