It’s that time of year again!  The Harvest Showdown Commercial Forage Show is coming up on November 2 to 5, 2016.  We would like to invite you to enter by October 14, 2016.  The entry fee is only $20.00 per sample to help cover the cost of the feed test.  This is an excellent opportunity to inexpensively obtain a detailed forage analysis as it normally costs twice as much.  Assistance is available to interpret the results and design a winter ration for your cattle from Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.  A forage test can be a valuable tool not only to determine what your livestock feed requirements and costs will be for the winter but also as a selling feature if you are marketing your forage.
